An architectural technologist, or building technologist, provides technical building design services and solutions for construction projects. They work closely with architects and other building professionals. You might think of an architectural technologist as a sort of project manager that oversees technical and non-technical aspects of a building project from conception to completion, analysing what is needed to simultaneously meet the architect’s expectations and comply with regulations. They are not to be confused with architectural technicians, who deal with specific measurements of portions of the building. Discover what it’s like to be an architectural technologist below!
